Wow, this has officially overtaken Jimโs Greek Tavern as my favourite Greek restaurant in Melbourne. We went with the $65 set menu and every dish was outstanding. The Saganaki with date and lemon compote was a definite highlight. The food was incredibly fresh, vibrant and full of flavour, with very generous portions. Exceptional value for money. Special mention to Rosie, whose warm and attentive service made the night even better. We canโt wait to come back.
Greeted by Rosie who spent time to ensure our special milestone birthday lived to our expectations. We were given options in the seating, which we greatly appreciated. The food was delicious, incredibly presented. We were pleasantly surprised to be given free dessert for our celebration. Rosieโs husband ( Harry) who is the head chef ensured he came out to greet us, congratulat us and ensured his pride and joy ( restaurant) meet our expectations. Stunning. We came as a group of 9. The food was better than other more established Greek restaurants. Every single dish was delicious. We got the 65 bucks set menu. Highly recommend. It's a lot of food! The owner Rosie is an absolute delight. She made this feel authentic Greek. I felt like I was in Crete or Zakynthos! New restaurant finding it's feet but they're doing a bloody good job.
We popped in on a cold winters evening and were met with a huge warm welcome into a homely and cosy restaurant. The owner clearly has a love for cooking and a passion for serving up full plates of incredible food to be shared around a table. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. Despite being mid week there was also a long specials list to add to the already extensive regular menu. We'll be back!
