Really enjoyed the food and the service was top notch. Drinks have a good variety of cocktails and the 'surprise me' option is great for a large group. Try the banquets 👍🏾

Myself and my parents had the most amazing meal at Ela in Cairns tonight. Lovely setting on the waterfront with great decor & lighting. We were looked after by Katherine who went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely time. She was very friendly and light hearted whilst also being very happy to answer questions and give recommendations. The Baramundi was one of the signature dishes recommended by Katherine and it was incredible. We also had the duck which was another signature dish and it was equally impeccable. Thanks for a great night!

Wonderful! Exciting menu - I had the octopus starter and the duck main. Absolutely delicious. Cant fault the service. The location on the wharf is beautiful and decor stunning. I'll be back again and again!

I visited Ela on 31/ 8/2025. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. My daughter picked the cocktails for us,they were not too sweet, refreshing and delicious. Charred Octopus was the next level. It was so tender but still had a nice texture. My husband was so impressed with it. The baguette was not too hard, just the right firmness for our liking. The sauce on the main dish was so beautiful that we had to order an extra baguette for it. We all loved it. The desserts were divine. Everything we ordered was so delicious. We’ll definitely be back Ela when we visit Cairns next time.

Walking by on a nice evening we dropped by to see if we could book a waterfront table for the next night. I think the place was already closed by the staff had absolutely no issues booking us in. Next day we ordered duck and lamb as mains. The food and the cocktails were delicious, staff were super friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the restaurant!
