Cute little Greek joint in the quaint Yarraville neighbourhood! We were craving Greek food on a hot day and decided to try Eleniโs. The atmosphere was great โ very much a family-vibe place, with lots of large tables and big groups dining together. We ordered the mixed dips; the bread was a little hard (maybe thatโs how itโs meant to be), but we really enjoyed the flatbreads. The lamb shoulder was soft and succulent, and the mixed platter was a solid choice. The whole baby snapper was slightly dry, but the flavours were still good. Overall, it was a good meal and a lovely spot for a relaxed group dinner.
Absolutely fantastic experience at Eleniโs Kitchen. We shared the mixed grill and it was delicious โ perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The saganaki with fig jam was a standout, genuinely amazing. Dessert sealed the deal: lemon tart and orange cake, an incredible sugar rush and the perfect way to finish the meal. The service was great โ friendly, attentive, and welcoming. To top it off, hearing a plate smash in the kitchen made the whole experience feel truly Greek ๐ฌ๐ท Great food, great atmosphere โ weโll definitely be back.

Came here for a dinner on a Saturday for a family of 6 adults and 5 kids. We hit the room for upstairs and when we arrive at 6pm, this place was packed, buzzing and lively. I recall coming here a few years ago and it didnโt have the same vibe, this time it was better and I m keen to understand why. We had our own air conditioned room, quiet to talk. We ordered the chargrilled octopus, zucchini chips, dips, Mediterranean salad, lamb gyros and finished with various sweets. I think I found the answers as to why this place is lit. The gyros is bang on point, the char bits and the smokiness is truly unique and hard to come by in this day and age. Their dips are delectable and their salads are really refreshing. The more I had the moorish I get, Eleni must have renewed their chef and this time they are making sure Greek food is served right in the heart of Yarraville.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the entire evening. The staff were incredibly attentive and made us feel truly welcomed, always nearby without being intrusive, and ready to help with recommendations or anything else we needed. And the foodโabsolutely divine. Every dish was bursting with flavour, freshness, and that unmistakable taste of authentic Greek cooking. From the perfectly grilled meats to the fresh salads and warm pita, everything was prepared with such care and attention to detail. I have to admit, this was hands down the best Greek food Iโve had in years. The flavours were rich and balanced, the portions generous, and the quality outstanding. We left feeling totally satisfied and already planning our next visit. This place is a true gem, and I wouldnโt hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional Greek dining experience.
