Incredible! We wandered in for the evening to a quiet arcade tucked away, but when we found the place it was beautiful. We got the Shawarma plate and a small Zaatar pizza, and between two people we were well satisfied. Such a huge helping of hommus and tzatziki, as well as lamb and chicken grilled to perfection with that nice char on the outside but tender inside. The man running the place was lovely and welcoming, and many thanks for his amazing food! The cherry and rose water was delicious, and we left VERY happy. Great pricing too
As one of the few dine-in restaurants in the heart of Launceston open/serving after 9pm, this culinary gem hiding in the heart of the Centreway Arcade provided an absolute feast of savory and sweet. If youโre hungry for authentic Lebanese dinners, desserts, and drinks - or just want to try something a little different, I highly recommend checking it out. Bring your appetite - the serving sizes are deliciously generous!
We first tried this man's incredible food at Evandale market and a NYE event some years ago. Since his shop opened i have wanted to come in. Tonight for my birthday we have had dinner and it was soooo worth the wait.... and to top it off he and his family played happy birthday songs and sung happy birthday at our table surprising me with some delicious looking dessert. What a legend! He was under the pump and while it seemed quite stressful for him at times he kept serving with a smile assisting each customer in great spirits. Just epic! We will be back ๐คฉ thankyou so much and happy new year.
Had a great dinner for five at Lebanese Gourmet & Grill / House Of Paella. The mixed grill for two was perfectly sized for our groupโflavorful and plentiful. The vegetable soup was light and refreshing. The pizza had a unique and different taste we enjoyed. A solid spot for a satisfying, shared meal!
An excellent Lebanese spot right in the heart of the CBD! Open late at night, itโs perfect for when youโre craving fresh, homemade food. Everything we tried was fantastic โ the chicken kababs were juicy and full of flavor, the salad was fresh and vibrant, and the falafel was spot on. Even the potato salad stood out! What makes this place even more special is the ownerโs hospitality. He made us feel so welcome and even went the extra mile to celebrate a birthday by playing a song and surprising us with delicious chocolate croissants on the house. Great food, warm service, and a lively atmosphere โ highly recommend this gem for both casual dining and special occasions.
