It's not often, if ever, that I leave a review. But as I walked down chapel street on a balmy Tuesday evening in search of a meal, I stumbled across Louie's. I thank God that I did. It is no exaggeration to say that it was the best gyros I have ever tasted and I have tasted hundreds. Juicy, fresh, tender, moist, clean. I run out of words to describe. Do yourself a favour and visit Louie's. You will not be disappointed.

The food was amazing, very fresh and flavourful. Although I went there for their souvlaki I also ordered the calamari and it was cooked to perfection, not rubbery at all it just melted in my mouth. I also got the Halloumi fries and mixed meat platter for my mum and the serving was very generous, it could easily be shared by 2 people, but I would say it needs more tatziki. Besides the amazing quality of the food, the staff provided excellent customer service. I would 💯 go back and recommend others go try it out for good quality Greek food.

Unbelievably tasty gyros and great value. The chicken was juicy and the lamb very tender, not to mention tasty. The chips are amazing!! Louis is an absolute gentleman. He's friendly, funny and very generous. Definitely recommend giving this place a try.

I had a team lunch at Louie’s today and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and Louie himself is a great host. I’ll definitely be back if you’re ever on Chapel Street, I highly recommend giving it a try. They’re even open late on the weekends!

I’ve travelled around Melbourne and tried plenty of souvlakis, but Louie’s Souvlaki has quickly become my new favourite go-to. The lamb is full of flavour, cooked perfectly, and the serving sizes are incredibly generous, you definitely leave feeling satisfied. What really stood out though was the customer service. It was honestly the best experience I’ve had in a long time. The staff were warm, welcoming, and even surprised us with free Greek donuts, which was such a thoughtful touch. I would highly recommend Louie’s Souvlaki to anyone, it’s well worth a visit.
