We ate here last night while in Sydney for a one-night stay, and it was outstanding. The food was amazing โ we ordered a few entrรฉes to share and couldnโt fault a single dish. Everything was brought out one item at a time, which allowed us to really savour and enjoy each plate rather than feeling rushed. The wine list had a great selection and paired beautifully with the food. We arrived right when the venue opened, when we were leaving it was filling up โ you could really see how it would be a great, lively atmosphere as the evening went on. Fantastic food, great service and a lovely atmosphere โ we would absolutely return next time we visit Sydney!
We had the most amazing dinner this evening. The food was amazing, full of flavour and generous. The service was excellent, the staff very attentive. Would definitely recommend this restaurantโฆwonderful
This is the best Greek restaurant Iโve been to in Australia and I travel a lot. With the ambience, decor, wall decorations, friendly staff, service, wide selection of drinks and big selection of traditional tasty authentic Greek food, it all comes together seamlessly. I had the chargrilled octopus for entree and seafood spaghetti as the main meal The perfect trifecta addition was the Medusa strawberry desert. A winning combination that will have me back here during my next Sydney visit. As for the service the best way to describe it is that it was friendly, professional and talented. A special shout out to Elisa and Spiros who between them provided us with excellent service and a very friendly interaction not to mention the laughs we got with Peter the owner regarding politics. Such a great gentleman! This is definitely the restaurant you should make sure you visit as its a hidden gem, but remember to book in advance because for a Wednesday evening they were fully booked.
Decided not to eat on Darling Harbour because everything looked like a tourist trap so walked one block out to Medusa's. Absolutely delicious. Roast lamb was sublime ๐๐๐ผ a large portion too. Lamb souvlaki was also excellent, the meat was so tender and the taste was authentically Greek. Slightly warmed baklava was a nice finish. We were enjoying the main dishes too much and forgot to take photos.
Found this place off the internet, as it was located near our hotel. And it is a gem! Excellent variety and authentic food. I think it was the owner who took our orders and the servers are generally friendly, except for one female waitress who didn't seem to care. Found it too noisy for my liking, and the tables too close to each other. BUT the food will have me coming back again! And thank you to the tall male server who was patient enough to teach us how to pronounce the dessert names! ๐๐ผ
