This is a roadside, small food joint run by a family. Delicious Mediterranean dishes are made fresh right in front of you. Great food, nice service.

Great and authentic little Mediterranean restaurant in a tranquil but vibrant part of town. Countless options for food and drink and everything I had was great (Shish, gyro, Arak). Family owned/run and everyone is just so kind and interesting. Highly recommended and will definitely be back next time I'm in Sydney.

We had a great experience here. Not only for the nice food but also because almost all the dishes served here are dairy free and without eggs (my son has a food allergy). Excellent service. Recommended The restaurant is small: reserve your table! Only one suggestion: indicate the dietary options in the menu to facilitate the choice of the customers.

On a recent work trip to Sydney, I went for a stroll after hours and stumbled across Souks. The place was buzzing — warm lights, the hum of conversation, the kind of homely vibe that pulls you right in. So I did, with a colleague in tow. We ordered a mix plate, dips, and eggplant — simple but incredible. Every bite was bursting with flavour and that unmistakable authenticity you only get from family cooking. The taste was honestly out of this world — smoky, spiced, comforting — exactly what good Mediterranean street food should be. The ambience is laid-back but full of life. Turns out, it’s a family-run place. When I said to the owner behind the counter, “What a feast and what flavours!” he just smiled and said, “Family cooking, my friend. Family cooking!” That sealed it for me. Can’t recommend it more if you’re after proper, soulful Mediterranean food done right. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Absolutely amazing Mediterranean restaurant! I was in a group of 4, so I decided to order the feed me plater, which was absolutely amazing. Every dish tasted beautiful and was made with fresh ingredients. Portion sizes were also very generous for $44. Staff here were also very friendly and did absolutely everything they could to ensure we had a great experience. Overall, if you are in the Pyrmont area of Sydney, you absolutely have to try this reasturant!
