OK - what can I say about this place other than it is an AMAZING restaurant? I came here with colleagues for a dinner and we got the super Greek set. The pita bread was freshly made and the hummus was delicious, the olives were alright - I have to admit Iโm not much of an olive person but my colleagues enjoyed them. Saganaki was good, although it cools down rapidly after taking it out of the pan, so eat it quick! King prawn was done very well, and the chicken souvlakia was tender and well marinated! The lamb shoulder was also a delightful dish, very tender and melts in your mouth. Roast potatoes were good too, crispy on the outside which is what I enjoy. What I loved the most is the orange portokolopita which is an absolute treat - Iโd never had anything like this before and thoroughly enjoyed myself. For 90 per pax I think itโs a good value for the amount and quality of food you get. The service was also very good, the staff were attentive and helpful. One thing Iโd like to say is that unfortunately while the food and service was good, the food took a very long time to arrive between each dish. If they can get the timing a little faster that would make the whole experience a 10/10.
My favourite restaurant in Sydney! Went for an anniversary with my boyfriend. We were greeted with delicious compliments champagne to start, which was amazing. The staff were attentive and helpful. The food was impeccable. The lamb, Saganaki and prawns were the showstoppers and I would go back tomorrow for it all again. A must visit!
Overall the dining experience here is immaculate We had warm pita and a fresh tzatziki, followed by sizzling saganaki cheese drenched in honey. The absolute star of the show was the oven-baked lamb shoulder, perfectly falling off the bone and so full of flavour! The Greek salad and crispy roast potatoes were to die for. A glass of Liatiko from Crete, subtle with smoky undertones, was an excellent pairing, and the cocktails were equally as amazing so highly recommend. an easy 10/10.
Cannot recommend highly enough!! The food is absolutely next level as is the service. The saganaki and lamb shoulder are the best I have had anywhere in the world!! From the moment you walk in the door you are in for a treat! The staff are extremely attentive and friendly.
Walked in for dinner on a Tues and was seated immediately. I went with the full Greek tasting menu for $78 and a glass of wine $19. Olives and pita bread were typical. Taramosalata mullet roe dip was good, just salty, but expected. Saganaki cheese was delicious. Village salad was good. Lamb shoulder was tender and flavorful, came with crispy roasted potatoes. Filo pastry was tasty, not too sweet. Service was good. Very friendly staff. Food came out quickly one after another. No long wait in between courses like for most tasting menus. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and bar seating as well. Clean, dim, medium/large sized restaurant. Overall, great quality food, very generous portions for every dish, reasonable prices, and good quick service. They did everything right. Highly recommend
