Went here the first time. Immediately, became our favourite chicken kebab. Plenty of meat, the charcoal grill adds awesome flavour, the bread amazing, so were the garlic sauce and hummus. The only complaint I have, is the fact that I couldn't eat 2, even so I wish I could ๐.
Turkish Tukka in Launceston feels like someone secretly teleported a piece of Istanbul into this quiet little town. You walk in expecting a standard kebab shop and somehow end up in the middle of a full-blown flavour awakening. The smell alone has authority. It wraps around you, pulls you in, and gently reminds you that you have made an excellent life decision. The food might just be the best in town. Every bite has confidence. The kebabs are stuffed with the energy of a thousand late-night cravings, the meats are grilled with precision, and the dips are so velvety you half-expect them to come with a skincare routine. The bread is pure fluff, the salad looks like itโs been styled by a food magazine intern, and every plate radiates happiness. Itโs a humble spot with modest dรฉcor, plastic chairs, and Turkish tunes floating through the air. You sit there mid-bite, quietly wondering why more people arenโt losing their minds over this place. Turkish Tukka doesnโt just feed you; it restores your faith in food.
It's my first time in Launceston with Family, visiting from Melbourne. We ordered gozlemes and they were different to the ones we have in Melbourne. I actually prefer these ones! The presentation and fillings were very appetising ๐๐๐ And the Apple tea, oh my God! I will miss its sweet fruity taste! Thank you for making great quality food with love!
Just grabbed the feta and herb chips. They were really nice. The other food looked amazing but I was just after chips today.
First time in this city and Tasmania, on holiday with family from Melbourne..was looking for halal options and visited turkish tukka at 7:30 pm, parking is a problem in this city.. ordered chicken wrap ..and potato and feta gozleme which was new to me and great taste..wrap was filled with chicken but on dry side.. it would be good to add more sauce or serve with some dip.
